Past Training

  • Service Providers Training: A panel of Micronesian leaders facilitated a panel discussion (see photo above) at the Imiloa Center focused on culturally responsive ways to support Micronesian families in social services.
  • Professional Development Workshop: Facilitated a presentation and panel discussions at Keau High School, Kealakehe Middle and High School, and Waimea Middle School about the Micronesian region, the Compact of Free Association, culturally responsive ways to support Micronesian students.
  • ECE Workshops: Members of MU-BI partnered with the Honolulu Museum of Art, UH Manoa’s Center for Pacific Islands Studies on the ECE-credit bearing workshops.
