MU-BI has released a summary of some of the shared cultural values and similarities across the Micronesian regions of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), and the Republic of Palau (ROP). These were presented by a panel comprising of some of the MU-BI Board of Directors during the conference entitled, “Serving Youth and Families: Culture, Family Dynamics and Social Etiquette” on September 12, 2014 at the Imiloa Astronomy Center at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Sponsored by the Hawaii County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney and MU-BI, the daylong conference provided some helpful tips for Hawaii County service providers who work directly with Micronesian youth and families.  Click here to download the summary (pdf format).
